What Next?

We fully intend to continue with our employer engagement activities, as it is seen as an important strategic direction for UWE, and more specifically, Engineering. This project has enabled us to clarify our current position and identify key areas for development and support - in much more detail and in a shorter timescale than we could otherwise have hoped to achieve. We now have a good fundamental baseline from which to move forward. Although resource cannot be as great after project completion, we have be able to use the lessons learnt to concentrate the resource we do have, to inform our long term relationship development with both employers and employees. We hope that the results we have obtained, and our Employer Engagement Process Checklist will also be of use to others in the future.
