The Developing and Enhancing STEM Communicator Models project resulted in a range of outputs detailed below:
1. Two events across 2011 - 2012 (Student Involvement in STEM Activities; Share, Improve, Develop) that allowed HE and FE STEM practitioners to network with one another, sharing good practice with regards STEM outreach and learning from the project's work
2. A Good Practice Guide on Student Involvement in STEM Activities that: illustrated accredited, paid and voluntary models of STEM communications; presented findings from evaluations undertaken of the experiences of students in STEM communication activities; and provided top tips and links to a range of advice and resources for those considering establishing STEM communication schemes
3. A pool of online resources to help those starting up STEM communication schemes with regards curricula and recruitment issues
4. Key findings from evaluations of the experiences of students in STEM communication activities, assessing their perceptions prior to taking part in a STEM communications event versus their reflection on the experience following the event
5. Strengthened delivery of the festival, Bath Taps into Science
6. A final report detailing the progress of the project, including challenges met and future sustainability
