On this video you can hear some encouraging and inspiring comments from current and past mature students who have successfully returned to study science-related subjects at university via a range of routes such as Access to HE Diplomas and Foundation Year courses.
Higher education staff also feature in this montage video, including Betsy Bowerman (Mature Students' Adviser at the University of Bristol), Dr Tracey Sweet (Chemistry Lecturer at South Devon College) and Prof David Harwood (Director of the Institute for Science Education at Plymouth University). They provide some useful tips for anyone considering returning to education to study as a mature student.
