This interactive seminar was run from 1-3.30 pm on Wednesday, 25 January 2012 at the University's Streatham Campus, with the aim of showcasing the variety of projects being undertaken by staff at the University of Exeter as part of the National HE STEM Programme.

The event started with a poster display and buffet lunch to give those attending the opportunity to talk to the staff directly concerned in the projects.  Professor Jonathan Barry, the University STEM Champion, then introduced the presentation and discussion session during which the leads of each of the projects presented their research and early findings and took questions.

The afternoon show-cased the eight projects to an audience of some thirty-five members of staff from departments across the university, with many useful connections being made and appreciation of the opportunity that had been given to find out more about STEM activities.
