Subject: Pan-STEM
The University of Exeter runs a free residential programme that gives students the opportunity to use their powers of logic and reasoning and to find out what it is like to undertake investigative work. Students work with academics at the University who are involved in teaching undergraduate courses and who are leading researchers in the fields of Forensic Science, Archaeology and Medical History.
Whilst students are at the residential they have their own common room to relax in and to make friends with students from other schools. The common room has its own pool table, arcade games and large screen TV and students enjoy a packed evening of entertainment.
The main aims of the University of Exeter Residentials are to allow students to experience university life. The thought of being away from home, family and friends can be quite scary for some; the residentials aim to convince that going to university can be the best experience of your life.
Year 10 students.
