Description

Subjects: Science & Technology

YASS offers able and motivated – as well as ‘gifted and talented’ - students an opportunity to get a taste of university study early through The Open University. It is available to students across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. YASS is designed to bridge the gap between school and full-time university and help able and motivated students stand out from the crowd. Study fits around school work and social lives, encourages independent learning and builds confidence.

There are over 60 exciting modules to choose from, everything from web design to writing fiction, giving students the ideal way to extend their knowledge of their AS or A level subjects / Highers and Advanced Highers in Scotland / Welsh Baccalaureate in Wales or to try something totally new. For students planning to go to university, the extra study can help their UCAS applications to stand out. It’s no surprise that more than 4,000 students in over 600 institutions across the UK are already choosing YASS to help them fulfil their ambitions!
